23rd World Congress

Spectacular 100-Year Anniversary Celebration

Happiness comes easily—when people meet with open hearts and share a common passion. Nearly 1,000 of the world’s top hairdressers from six continents and 40 countries gathered on the first weekend of June for the 23rd Intercoiffure World Congress. In its founding city of Hamburg, the “World’s Leading Hairdressers” celebrated the 100th anniversary of their international organisation. The highlights: nine prestigious shows, three gala acts, captivating performances by Fondation Guillaume and South African hairdressing students from the “Education for Life” charity programme at the Hamburg Congress Center. Adding to the festivities were a Parade of Nations in the historic Altona Fish Auction Hall, a glamorous gala evening, an exclusive matinée at the Elbphilharmonie with the “Camerata” orchestra, a formal award ceremony, and a lively 1920s-style party. It was a grand celebration—full of warmth, creativity, and global friendship.

Fondation Guillaume World Photo Competition

Willing to be one of the Fondation Guillaume International Superstars in 2025?

The Fondation Guillaume has launched its latest world photo competition. To become the future superstars in 2025, the competing candidates will have to provide outstanding work and produce the best photos to win an exclusive pass to Intercoiffure Mondial World Congress. More than just a competition, a lifetime experience to live with a group seminar of International Fashion Team members and 10 young hairdressers, reunited around a unique anniversary, the one from the centenary of the Association.
Applications are possible until January 12th 2025.

Intercoiffure Mondial President election

We are delighted to announce the re-election of Peter F. Pfister as the President of INTERCOIFFURE MONDIAL! The hairdressers' community has gathered in Barcelona this weekend for the yearly congress where delegates had expressed in majority their support to their president. He extends heartfelt thanks to all the delegates, members, and countries for their continued trust.
Honored to serve another term, Peter F. Pfister commits to further enhancing the prestige of our organization and looks forward to continuing his relentless efforts to make our star symbol shine even brighter.
