Sections of the Year 2011
Intercoiffure Mondial presents the Sections of the Year Award once a year at the "Night of the Stars" or at the World Congress.
The winner of the Sections of the Year Award is designated by Inner Committee and the nomination is to be approved by the majority of the Central Committee.
This honour is given to a Section, which has shown extraordinary commitment for Intercoiffure Mondial in the year. For example because it has either organized a very successful congress or managed to get several countries from its continent, to join Intercoiffure Mondial.
For the first time in the history of our organization, we wish to honor two of our Sections this year: ICD Austria and ICD Denmark!
Choosing them was evident. Both of them did an outstanding job at their respective 3rd Western Europe Congress and Nordic Region Congress in May 2010, the first one in the lovely city of Salzburg and the second one in the exquisite city of Copenhagen.
ICD Austria and ICD Denmark absolutely amazed us by their warm welcomes, the quality of the shows and festivities, in addition to the smooth organization on site. For all these reasons and many other more, we are proud to honor this evening these two very energetic and creative Sections as Sections of the Year!
Congratulations to Peter Pfister, President of ICD Austria and to Allan Kliim, President of ICD Denmark, but also to their boards and all their members!
